Battlefield 2042 will also be delayed
The pandemic will delay the release of another long-awaited game...
Battlefield 2042 was originally scheduled to release on 22. in October, but that unfortunately will not happen. The publisher Electronic Arts and the developers DICE, Criterion and Ripple Effect announced in a joint tweet that due to the coronavirus, they were forced to postpone the release, but fortunately only for less than a month. The new release date is now 19th. November. “Given the scope of the game, we hoped that our teams would return to our studios together and finish work on time. As current conditions do not allow for this to be carried out safely, we believe that despite the hard work that teams are doing from home, it is important to take the extra time to realize the vision of Battlefield 2042 for our players,” they wrote…
Battlefield 2042 will be available for PC (Origin, Steam and Epic Games Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game will not take place in the form of classic missions, as we are used to until now, but will focus on multiplayer battles, in which up to 128 players will be able to participate.
