Is Fortnite coming back to iOS?

Fortnite is an extremely successful mobile shooting game, but users of iOS devices cannot download it since August, because it is no longer in Apple's App Store due to a dispute between Epic Games and Apple. Why are they fighting? Because of the money, of course. Epic believes that the 30 percent of the sales price that Apple requires for a program to be sold through their store is too much, and Apple, of course, refuses to budge. And since they can't come to an agreement, there is no Fortnite game in the App Store.

At this point in the dispute, Epic "suffers" more, since it cannot sell the game to iOS users, which of course are not few. Therefore, they naturally look for other options. And now they have apparently found one. Fortnite will be playable via the GeForce Now online gaming platform, which Nvidia plans to launch later this year. Playing shooter games in the cloud via a web browser, in this case Safari, is not exactly an optimal solution, but it is better than nothing. And if Epic succeeds, others will follow, as Microsoft, Facebook and others are reportedly preparing similar measures. Unless Apple softens up…
