Prince Of Persia Sands Of Time Remake

When, on what and what will be better than in 2003...

Prince Of Persia Sands Of Time Remake

Last September, as part of its Ubisoft Forward 2020, Ubistoft also announced the release of Prince Of Persia Sands Of Time Remake, i.e. a revised version of the original from 2003. At the time, we learned that the game was set to release on January 21st, that it was being developed in India, and they also released the alpha trailer below, but we didn't learn much from it.

Well, now things are a bit clearer. First, the outcome. Due to Covid, this will not be on January 21, as planned, but 18. in March. At that time, the game is expected to be released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. No specific versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X have been announced yet, but for compatibility it will work on them as well. As for the minimum performance requirements of personal computers, these are not yet officially known, but an Intel Core i3-560 3.3GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 805 processor (the former from 2011, the latter from 2009), AMD Radeon HD 7790 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 graphics, compatible with DirectX 11, 8 GB of RAM and 30 GB of hard disk space should be sufficient, and it is recommended to have an Intel Core processor i5-4670K 3.4GHz / AMD FX-8370 (from 2013 and 2014), graphics AMD Radeon RX 570 4 GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4 GB, compatible with DirectX 11, 16 GB of RAM, and 30 GB of disk space. So nothing particularly exciting...

The developers say that the feeling of movement will be similar to the original version, except of course more realistic, but the Prince will be able to run a little faster and thus perform his acrobatics and fighting moves more easily, which will also be improved.

If you're craving the good old Prince, you'll have to wait another two months, but the game is already available for pre-order for all the aforementioned platforms.
