What do we know about GTA 6?

A few days ago we wrote about that Grand Theft Auto 6 is "dragging" so much because the current version is still selling extremely well and that the sixth is not expected before 2022. Do we know anything else about it? Despite the fact that the game as such has not been officially confirmed yet, something has leaked out a little.

GTA 6 will almost certainly not be as "comprehensive" as GTA 5 was when it comes out, but it will start a little more modestly, and the developers will upgrade it over time. Therefore, we will not get the entire story upon purchase, but it will be upgraded and expanded on the fly.

What about the happenings? Things are still a bit unclear here. There are quite a few hints that the action will return to Vice City (Miami), and Sam Houser, one of the founders of Rockstar hinted that the action could also take place in Las Vegas, Mexico and Chicago. The story is supposed to start in the 80s and 90s and continue in modern times, and it will be played, like in GTA 5, possibly in the role of several characters, with for the first time being one of them also a woman.

Since GTA 6 started development if before the announcement of PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, it can be expected that the game will also be available for PS 4 and Xbox One, and considering that Rockstar is developing GTA 5 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the game will no doubt be available for these two new consoles as well. What about PC? GTA 5 didn't come out for PC until two years after it was released for consoles, which almost certainly won't happen this time, as GTA 5 and GTA 5 Online for PC were so successful that they will definitely not let this piece of cake be taken away from them.

What about orders or pre-orders? Of course, there is no talk of this yet, as the game has not even been officially announced yet. We will probably find out more in the second half of the year, but as we wrote, the outcome is not yet expected this year.
