Another fourth Exorcists…

Ghostbusters (Ghostbusters) is a film or a series of films that probably needs no special introduction. If nothing else, you know her by the title song, which was also a hit on many music charts around the world. The first film about a rather eccentric foursome of paranormal investigators was created in 1984 under the direction of Ivan Reitman, and featured famous names such as Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Rick Moranis, Annie Potts and others. The film was a great success and in 1989 they "repeated the exercise" in the form of Ghostbusters II (Ghostbusters II). The film was also directed by Reitman, and the cast, at least as far as the main roles are concerned, has not changed much. The second part was not as successful as the first, so they put the idea on hold. For as many as 27 years.

It was revived in 2016, but much changed. Not only was the film directed by a different director (Paul Feig), the cast was also completely different, as it was no longer the Exorcists but the Exorcists, performed by Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.

The third film was fairly well received, and since a good idea needs to be "squeezed" while it lasts, we will get a fourth Exorcists called Ghostbusters: Afterlife at the end of the year. They will be directed again by Reitman, but this time not by Ivan but by his son Jason, and the main characters will be 12-year-old Phoebe (Mckenna Grace) and 15-year-old Trevor (Finn Wolfhard), who move with their mother Callie (Carrie Coon) to their grandfather's dilapidated house, where they discover the grandfather's secret... and then, of course, things get complicated...

After 32 years, the "original" actors Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts will appear again in the film, and judging by the trailer, things will be quite cute again...
