Where did they get the passages from?
Have you ever wondered where movie clips with specific words come from in commercials?
Surely you have ever seen an advertisement for a film or television program, in which excerpts from various films were included but with a specific text. Have you ever wondered how they got there? Do they have such good movie connoisseurs? What database of texts from movies?
It is, of course, a computer-based system, something similar to what you can find on the website PlayPhrase.me. On it, you enter the text or phrase you are looking for in the search bar, and the system returns excerpts from movies where this phrase is spoken. In the free version, up to five results are available, but if you become a sponsor, of course, there is no such limit. Try it, it's a lot of fun…
