New Star Trek as planned
The third season of Star Trek: Discovery will begin as planned - on October 15.
CBS has released a new trailer for the third season of Star Trek: Discovery, which gives a sneak peek of what awaits the crew of the USS Discovery after they entered a wormhole at the end of last season that took them to a future where the Federation has nearly collapsed. With the help of new friends, Commander Michael Burnham and crew must now try to re-establish the interstellar government.
Fans of the cult Star Trek were afraid that the release of the new season would be spoiled by Covid-19, but luckily it was not. Filming ended before the quarantines and the release will go as planned - on CBS All Access on October 15, and on Netflix a day later.
