Mortal Kombat the movie
Warner Bros. Pictures released the first seven minutes of the movie based on the game of the same name.
It used to be that computer and video games were often based on movie themes, but for some time now the trend has been turning the other way as video games become the basis for movies. And among such projects is Mortal Kombat.
The authors of the film, which will premiere this Friday on HBO Max, tried to approach the film adaptation of this classic fighting game a little differently, more emotionally. But instead of us explaining how and what, you'd better watch the first seven minutes of the movie that Warner Bros. Pictures posted on YouTube. Due to the violent content, the film is age-restricted and the clip cannot be viewed directly on our website, but can be accessed by clicking on it.
In the original game, there are many actors, and the filmmakers chose the conflict between Sub Zero (Joe Taslim) and Scorpion (Hiroyuki Sanada) from the colorful group, where the former is a villain and the latter is an avenger.
