Games and Hollywood
Shooting games will also get their animated movie versions.
Krafton, the company responsible for the popular, but lately a little floundering, PUBG: Battlegrounds, has announced that Adi Shankar, one of Hollywood's hottest creators of so-called "nerd content" and the author of the Netflix hit Castlevania, will turn PUBG: Battlegrounds into an animated series.
Shankar has been talking about the need to "repair the burnt bridges between the gaming industry and Hollywood" for a while now, and an animated version of PUBG is said to be one of those steps. And apparently it won't be the first, as Assasin's Creed, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Devil May Cry and others could follow.
So just witnessing the birth of a new Hollywood fashion? We will see…
