Dunes? We can't wait…
The Dune trailer is extremely promising…
David Lynch's Dune from 1984 is definitely one of the most iconic sci-fi films in history, and it was only a matter of time before someone would remake it. And it did. The story, based on Frank Herbert's science fiction novel, unfolds under the guidance of director Denis Villeneuve, the role of Paul Atreides was performed by Timothée Chalamet, and Lady Jessica by Rebecca Ferguson. In the film, which will hit the big screen at the end of December, we also find Aquaman Jason Momoa, who plays the role of Duncan Idaho, Josh Brolin, Thanos from The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling and some other famous movie names.
The trailer that Warner Bros. Pictures released two days ago promises plenty of fun, but we'll see how the film will fare in practice. Sometimes it is the case that some stories are not good to repeat, because the original told everything. Will Dune be like that too? We hope not…
